1st part
The oldest traditions of the East had a holistic conception of the human being and considered that the ills of the body had a deeper root. The disease was nothing more than an energetic disharmony of the individual. In short, our ancestors seemed to know that everything in the universe vibrates. Pythagoras affirmed “that each celestial body, each atom, produces a particular sound due to its movement, rhythm or vibration. What's more, all those sounds or vibrations make up a universal harmony in which each element, without losing its own function and character, contributes to the whole “and this of course includes the human body. Each cell and each organ of our body therefore continuously vibrates at a certain frequency. And so, when an organ is healthy, its vibration frequency is in harmony with the rest of the body; but if this frequency is altered, the harmony is broken and what we know as disease appears. We also know today – by the principle of resonance – that it is possible to modify these altered frequencies through the transmission of other frequencies. And that is what makes sound a therapeutic process capable of opening the door to physical, emotional, mental and spiritual balance. And it is that thanks to the principle of resonance, that the sound of the quartz bowls adjusts the vibration of the person to the same frequency emitted from the mineral; that is, they both end up vibrating at the same rate.
Crystal bowls emit and induce an alpha wave pattern that is the same as that emitted by the brain in meditative and deep calm states. And it has been possible to verify that in these states there is an increase in the production of T lymphocytes, responsible for the immune system. The sound of the bowls, then, affects the individual globally. First it balances your energy body and chakras and then it clears the auric field. In addition, the vibration affects the spine, which acts as a resonance vehicle and spreads through the nervous system to our cells, tissues and organs. That is the reason why the vibration produced by the bowls has the ability to dissolve blockages in the physical and subtle body, as well as why it is used in cases of muscular contractures, breaks, and other bone problems. The vibration of the bowls resonates and harmonizes the crystalline structure also present in our skeleton. Likewise, it has positive effects in cases of osteoarthritis, circulatory problems, fibromyalgia, neural problems, learning disorders, laterality, hyperactivity, etc. Without forgetting that they charge and enhance with their vibration flower essences and essential oils and that they are used to clean physical spaces. Instruments that heal “Certain sounds have the ability to balance mood and health”
The human being has expressed his connection with the sacred through the sound of his own voice in ritual songs. Also since ancient times, metal bowls and other delicate percussion instruments have been used, due to their sound properties, as a means to balance body and soul. Other cultures, such as the aborigines of Australia, for more than 40,000 years have used the vibration of the didgeridoo, the oldest known wind instrument, both in their ceremonies and to treat diseases and imbalances that produce them. All of these instruments are simple to play and reveal the richness and depth that can be in a single sound. They obey a different concept of music from the one we have. Indeed, a concert based on any of these instruments differs from the ones we are used to hearing. They are sounds that lead inwards and help to quiet the mind, inducing an inner journey through vibration, as long as the person allows themselves time for introspection and is in a suitable place.
All these instruments have a common base: the recognition of sound vibration as an important means to achieve physical and energetic balance, capable of deeply touching our being. In fact, through the principle of resonance, sound has the ability to affect the subject. The clearest example is found in the string of a guitar that makes its neighbor vibrate when the appropriate note is struck, or in the singer who breaks a glass with her voice by matching the resonance frequency of the glass. This leads us to wonder if, based on a similar principle, certain people, landscapes or monuments can positively inspire us or improve our mood. For energy medicines, each cell and each organ of the body is continuously vibrating at a certain frequency. When an organ is healthy its vibratory frequency is in harmony with the rest of the body, while in a diseased organ the vibratory frequency is altered. By the principle of resonance it is possible to modify these altered frequencies through the transmission of other balancing frequencies. This is what makes sound a therapeutic instrument capable of opening the door to physical, emotional, mental and spiritual balance.
The most lower sounds produce a grounding in the person because they affect the lower energy centers. They are broader, contain more harmonics. The highest pitched ones resonate in the upper parts of the body (chest, throat and head). They are more focused, more intense sounds. Those who use these instruments therapeutically pay attention to another fundamental aspect: they consider sound as a carrier wave of consciousness. That is, depending on where the consciousness of the individual is located when creating a sound, the vibration can transmit subliminal information about that knowledge or that energy to the person who receives it.
Quartz Crystal Singing Bowls
The properties of quartz give these instruments enormous resonance. They create enveloping sounds and work deeply on the cerebral hemispheres and the etheric body. Its users assure that they generate very powerful frequencies that favor the inner journey, boosting consciousness to higher vibratory levels.
Quartz crystal bowls are used in individual sessions to improve the flow of body energy, undoing its blockages and inducing states of unusual well-being. They can be played separately, for example to harmonize each chakra, or they can be combined creating harmonies that often bring consciousness to a state of deep peace and well-being. The intensity and duration vary depending on the patient. A session can range from 30 to 50 minutes. Normally the patient remains stretched out, although he can sit up if he wishes, and the bowls are located about 80 cm. It begins with a little relaxation. * The most serious sounds are used in nervous or hyperactive people with a tendency to stress; in these cases the bowl is made to sound constantly and softly. Higher pitched and varied sounds with bell tolls are used to activate the person. In a session of bowls, the imbalances that may exist are acted upon by applying those whose note resonates with the affected part of the body, or that help to distribute it, in fact the body acts as a resonance box, so that the sound varies according to the part of the body on which it is applied. This allows you to identify internal blockages, as these cause the sound to die off more quickly in the affected areas.
The power of quartz
The sound of a quartz bowl can expand up to a kilometer and last for several minutes until it is extinguished. It has a wave pattern close to the alpha state, which is emitted by the brain in states of deep calm. If we fill a quartz bowl with water and activate its sound, geometric figures can be observed on the surface. Given the enormous resonance, increasing the intensity causes the water to jump as if it were effervescent. This suggests the subtle effect that these instruments can produce on the body, made up of more than 70% water. In addition, silica, which is quartz (silicon oxide), is abundant in bones, blood, hair, skin, nails, teeth... Our DNA is structured in a double spiral similar to that of quartz crystal. There are four molecules of silica in each of our molars, and it is also present in the colloidal liquid crystal structure of the brain.
