“And remember, we all stumble, each and every one of us. That’s why it’s a comfort to hold hands.”
E.K. Brough
Societies have always practiced some type of ceremony. Our ancestors celebrated events such as the full moon, solstices, harvests and planting. Weddings, funerals, and baptisms are examples of other rituals that have been practiced for over a hundred years. They are activities that often combine reverence, gratitude and honor. For today’s woman, performing a ceremony has the ability to evoke self-love and positive recognition in her. In the privacy of our homes, or in nature, we can celebrate life.
It is my belief and experience that if we honor our feminine energy through meetings, ceremonies, circles or rituals we will come to a better knowledge of our inner being.
Through ceremony, we can heal our spirit and often create new realities simply by choosing how to perceive the events in our lives. By changing our perception, we can open ourselves to fantastic possibilities and magnificent events with truly lasting benefits.
Every woman can glorify all of her circumstances and manifest a uniquely fulfilling existence by celebrating events in her life that she perhaps never realized were worthy of recognition. In solitude, she can perform ceremonies that will free her from repressed emotions, soothe old wounds, nourish her feminine spirit, and perform acts of celebration for her being.
My wish is that all women learn alone or in company to learn to consider and value themselves as divine beings.
Whether you are a teenager, an adult, you are about to be a mother, or you already are, married, single, divorced, widowed, grandmother… wherever you are in your process, learn to love, share, celebrate and nourish yourself with what it means. embrace the Feminine in its entirety.
I feel that it is especially important for those who are embarking on a new path and who feel insecure in it, do not know their worth and do not appreciate themselves.
The ceremonies will be for them as well as for women of all ages a space that will assist them in their adventures in life.
As adults, we have the opportunity to evolve and become stronger, and wiser when we incorporate the act of ceremony into our lives. Through the ceremony we can learn to close processes in certain situations, praise new beginnings, the arrival of someone into our lives, expand our horizons and recognize our sisterhood as women, opening ourselves to the spiritual awakening that this entails.
We all have the ability to manifest positive results in our lives. By choosing to perceive all life changes as positive, as natural processes, we can truly take a turn that elevates any situation; This way we learn to celebrate life!
