Chakras were already mentioned in the ancient Vedic scriptures and this term reached the Western world through Tantra-Yoga.
The word “chakra” means wheel, steering wheel, circle. In meditation images, yogis represent the chakras as lotus flowers.
Different numbers of petals are attributed to each chakra. The number of petals ascends from the root chakra, represented by a lotus flower with four petals, to the mandala or crown chakra as a lotus flower with a thousand petals.
In some descriptions the chakra is also called “Padma” = Lotus Flower. The number of petals gives brief information about the increase in the frequency of energetic oscillation of the chakra.
Chakras are energy centers of light matter in our body, through which we are especially disposed to absorb Reiki.
Our body consists of seven main chakras, to which I will dedicate an introduction in the following lines.
The different chakras are united by a common flow of energy.
Clairvoyants can see the chakras as circles of different colors that rotate. The vision of these colors is something individual and subjective. The colors recognized by me correspond to the colors of the rainbow spectrum and I classify them when describing the different chakras.
The chakras are the mirror of our soul. All the experiences, good or bad, that we have obtained in the course of our lives, influence the behavior of the chakras.
Negative experiences and experiences produce blockages, which interfere with the circulation of energy. According to their predisposition, human beings react to their environment in an aggressive or introverted way.
Each chakra has a spiritual and a physical classification. Where our feelings are hurt, physical ailments soon appear, and in this way the circle is closed. Just as each chakra belongs to a defined emotional zone, disorders in this zone can be transformed into discomfort in the corresponding organs, parts of the body and metabolic processes. Often, a chakra is blocked in such a way that the human being feels helpless, without energy and lacking stimuli for action.
Like almost no other treatment method, Reiki offers us the possibility of dissolving these blockages. Through the chakras we introduce the positive energy given by Reiki and the negative energy comes out. When I apply Reiki I feel the flow of energy in my hands.
By the intensity of the energy that flows, I recognize disorders in the chakras.
The more energy flows, the more clogged the chakra is. It is not possible to apply an “overdose” of Reiki. The body only accepts the amount of this positive vital energy that it needs or that it is willing to produce at this moment. This treatment opens chakras, releases blockages and positively influences possible symptoms of illness.
The circulation of energy that unites the chakras with each other and in turn with the organs allows each disease to be treated through its corresponding chakra.
The treated person may present strong emotional reactions, for example a liberating cry. Afterwards they feel calm and relaxed. They feel an enormous desire to talk about the sensations they experienced and often discover an intense feeling of happiness, not experienced in a long time.
The healing processes promoted by Reiki can be complemented with other therapeutic methods. In my experience, very good results are achieved with color therapies, aromatic oils, music, precious stones and flower essences.
The chakras
The seven chakras (energy centers) of the human being:
1. root chakra,
2. sacral chakra,
3. solar plexus chakra,
4. heart chakra,
5. throat chakra,
6. forehead chakra (between the eyebrows),
7. crown chakra (mandala)
1st CHAKRA
MULADHARA = ROOT CHAKRA
The root chakra is in the area of the pelvic cavity between the anus and the genitals, and opens downwards. The image corresponding to this chakra is the four-petaled lotus flower. The color of the root chakra is a luminous red. The element that corresponds to it is earth.
• The root chakra is attributed to all solid matter in the body (bones, teeth and nails), feet and legs. The digestive system with the anus, prostate, blood and cell constitution is treated through the root chakra. The sensitive organ of the root chakra is the nose, the sense of smell.
Root chakra disorders
These can be recognized by the following attitudes: the person has extreme fears of suffering physical or mental injuries. To avoid being hurt, she prefers to hurt others. Extreme selfishness characterizes these people. Root chakra blockages are identified with markedly materialistic thinking and behavior. Sensuality increases towards extreme impulsivity, and feelings are rejected. People with a disturbed or blocked root chakra tend to flee from reality, and are also partly prone to addictions (alcohol, nicotine, and in the worst case, drugs).
A balanced root chakra
It conveys a feeling of security. He overcame the fear of helplessness and love and trust prevail. The union with the earth, with what is durable, allows the relationship with reality. Sensitive beings with a balanced chakra are capable of exhausting their spiritual abilities and honing their abilities. This includes the ability to leave the body, to perceive visions without feeling fear, and clairvoyance.
2nd. Chakra
SVADHISTHANA = SACRAL CHAKRA
The sacral chakra is located at the level of the pubis and opens forward.
The image corresponding to this center is the lotus flower with six petals. The color of the sacral chakra is orange. The corresponding element is water.
• From the sacral chakra, the entire pelvic cavity is positively influenced, that is, the reproductive organs, the kidneys, the bladder, as well as everything liquid: blood, lymph, gastric juices and sperm. The sensitive organ of the sacral chakra is the tongue, the sense of taste.
Sacral chakra disorders
These can be recognized by the following attitudes: the person has irrational behavior and has disturbances in self-esteem. He is afraid of relationships, afraid of creating a family. Tends to frigidity, prudery, sexual overexcitement or compulsive sexual dysfunctions. With his unfounded jealousy, he terrorizes his partner or other close people.
Here childhood experiences that have not been assimilated are reflected. Protection was lacking in the parental home. The person lacks discipline and perseverance. These people always fail to make diets or cannot curb their sexual desires.
A balanced sacral chakra
It generates a physical-psychological harmony in the life of a couple. The individual trusts his instincts and the environment perceives his vitality. It rests in itself and has a marked sense of family. When the root chakra and the sacral chakra are harmonized, a being with a sensitive predisposition has the possibility of perfecting their abilities.
3rd. Chakra
MANIPURA = SOLAR PLEXUS CHAKRA
The solar plexus chakra is located at the level of the navel and opens forward.
The image for this center is a lotus flower with ten petals. The color of the solar plexus chakra is yellow. The element that corresponds to it is fire.
The solar plexus chakra establishes communication with the abdominal cavity, with the stomach, liver, spleen, gallbladder and digestive system. It is the chakra for the vegetative nervous system. The sensitive organ is the eye, the sense of sight.
Solar plexus chakra disorders
These can be recognized by the following attitudes: it is the center of psychosomatic illnesses. The person tends to stress, fear and nervousness. The center of emotions is disturbed, and dealing with other human beings is difficult. He doesn’t trust his instincts, he lost his own identity and sentimentally lives according to the imaginations of others. He does not accept his own body. The reactions to the environment are fear, insecurity and anger.
The solar plexus chakra is the center of all emotions. Here rage and hatred, grief and joy are brewed.
A balanced solar plexus chakra
A human being of this type rests in his center and gives his surroundings a sense of stability. He is an active person, who makes decisions and assumes responsibilities. He reacts sensitively and makes his decisions, letting himself be guided by his intuitions. Human beings with a balanced solar plexus chakra are very sensitive and open to the problems of others. In this case, beings with medial aptitudes can strengthen their telepathic abilities. They have so-called x-ray vision.
4th. Chakra
ANAHATA = HEART CHAKRA
The heart chakra is located at the level of the heart in the center of the rib cage and opens forward. The image here will be a twelve-petaled lotus. The colors of the heart chakra are pink and green. The element that corresponds to it is air. As parts of the body, the heart, the lower part of the lung, blood circulation and blood are treated. The sensitive organ is the skin, the sense of touch.
Heart chakra disorders
These can be recognized by the following attitudes: Pessimism and a negative worldview inactivate this chakra. A selfish love and self-centeredness make it difficult to deal with these people. The egocentric only loves himself and has no regard for other people’s feelings. He is fickle, unstable and has a hard time saying “no.” It is a being that gives itself unconditionally until reaching servitude.
A balanced heart chakra
This type of human being stands out for the love he professes for his fellow humans, he is compassionate and harmonious. His most notable quality is a healthy optimism. He is willing to accept and transmit love. The heart chakra is the seat of pure love. This chakra is the center that enables us to make Universal Life Energy -Reiki- flow from our hands to heal others.
The active heart chakra
Ability to mentally influence things. For example, thought transmission and distant healing. “The will can move mountains.” Everything you seriously want to achieve will be fulfilled.

VISUDDHA = THROAT CHAKRA
The neck chakra is located at the front of the neck, in the pharynx area, and opens forward. The corresponding image is a lotus flower with sixteen petals. The color of the neck chakra is blue. The element that corresponds to it is ether.
• The lungs, bronchi, esophagus, throat and jaw are reached by this neck chakra. The sensitive organ is the ear, the sense of hearing.
Throat chakra disordersThey can be recognized by the following attitude: the ability to communicate is disturbed. In the case of passive behavioral disturbances, the human being cannot talk about his feelings, neither with words nor with gestures. Distrust, lack of self-esteem and fear of not being able to control one’s life lead to compulsive oral needs. The person “swallows” everything (alcoholics, unhealthy eating behavior). He lacks the ability to defend himself, he has no strength to impose himself.
Active disturbance of the neck chakra manifests itself because the individual tries to impose himself verbally by shouting and shouting. He is neither diplomatic nor sincere: he is the liar.
active neck chakra
It enables the human being to listen. He likes to argue and is able to talk about his feelings. Beings with a balanced neck chakra are very creative and open to inspirations.

AJNA = FOREHEAD CHAKRA
The brow chakra is located between the eyebrows in the middle of the forehead and is also known as “the third eye.” The corresponding image is the lotus flower with ninety-six petals.
The color of the forehead chakra is Indian violet-blue. Here is the seat of inspiration.

Forehead chakra disorders
These can be recognized by the following attitudes: rational and intuitive thinking are foreign to this being. He is not able to organize his life and tends to lack concentration. Not suitable for hierarchical positions. He lacks any kind of sensitivity and inspiration. Their negative behavior is expressed in selfish, superstitious and dogmatic thinking. Even the most trivial things are intellectualized. These people are prone to mental illness and drug abuse.
A balanced brow chakra
It allows us to perceive oscillations and things that are not expressed. We let ourselves be guided by our inspiration. Here the sixth sense is developed, a good capacity for discernment and sensitivity. And here is also the center of logical thinking and concentration. The maximum goal to achieve is wisdom. This chakra gives the person the ability to self-evaluate. You can be clairvoyant, and perceive and understand visions. He is also capable of receiving and sending telepathic messages. This is the seat of the inspiring force and energy of meditation and prophecy.

Crown chakra disorders
These can be recognized by the following attitudes: the person tends to emotional disturbances, which are expressed as self-pity and martyrdom. He dramatizes and tries by all means to draw attention to himself.
It is possible for very few people to achieve supreme wisdom and universal consciousness. People who find themselves on this path usually face their peers with tolerance. They accept others, without trying to change them or interfere in their lives, and show a lot of understanding. But this level of being remains hidden from most human beings.
